The three R's; re-charge, reuse, relax!

It's a drag to run out of batteries, and these days it's almost inevitable; everything requires them. Some items that we would normally plug in can also be battery operated, but we often opt for the quick convenience of the plug without realizing that hey, perhaps using batteries could be more energy efficient...but how?

If you have purchased rechargeable batteries in the past, you are probably aware of their awesomeness. A one time purchase that can be recharged? We'll take it! But they can also be a drag; you need to charge the batteries once you buy them, and they tend to loose their gusto before you've even charged them.
